You can tape it to the floor so it doesn't move around. My children also like to pretend to be weather men with a video camera with it taped to the closet door behind them.Liesl Wells Thompsonhttp://www.facebook.com/people/Liesl-Wells-Thompson/1449242565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1788078455674853620.post-63281711476524820732011-06-07T07:21:19.882-04:002011-06-07T07:21:19.882-04:00i am a developmental specialist. kids can learn le...i am a developmental specialist. kids can learn letters and numbers early but those are rote skills at that age. real understanding and meaning and being able to apply the knowledge of these symbols won't happen until four or later. many kids start kindergarten and don't know letters! stop worrying. these are fun activities to do to get them started. let them be babies!Chrislesliednoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1788078455674853620.post-13469002368311581652011-06-03T04:14:43.635-04:002011-06-03T04:14:43.635-04:00So how did you choose the oldest ones lessons? My 9 year old did not identify his letters until he was closer to 4! Krash learned around 2 and Ladybug also-but Pac is definitely not delayed because of his late ABC knowledge! He just had no interest in ABCs at a young age and the other 2 did!Carisahttp://1plus1plus1equals1.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1788078455674853620.post-49353693211000091172011-06-02T07:37:55.917-04:002011-06-02T07:37:55.917-04:00How cool!

Remember the kid show back in the day called "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" I want so bad to be able to put a map on the floor like they do. Maybe I could do that with masking tape. I would like to add it to one I just started if you approve
I have put together a daily blog intended to be used as an additional study tool for you and your child. History, math, science, vocabulary, and geography are given every day many with a link to the document to study. I also have researched sources that I hope may be helpful to you as an aide for your child. The site is actually very child friendly in terms of use.
I ask you to visit it and see what it has to offer. The first post “The Furniture of the Human Mind” will explain the site and hopefully you will look around.
Thank You
http://www.dailyhistory365.blogspot.comMkiley32noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1788078455674853620.post-42857794917558320372011-06-01T15:03:18.338-04:002011-06-01T15:03:18.338-04:00I love it!
