In 5th grade, my teacher, Mr. Smyser had us memorize John 3:16 and I have to tell you this verse has followed me and guided me almost every day since then. It comes up in the most craziest of places and I think I have an unhealthy obsession in trying to find it everywhere, lol. I also have an equal obsession with Thomas Kinkade. 6 years ago, while on a Girl Scout field trip to Savannah, we stopped into an art gallery. There was an original Kinkade painting of Jesus' face with the John 3:16 scripture in a beautiful font at the bottom, and it was signed by Kinkade. It now hangs on the wall between the bedrooms of my girls where He and this scripture can watch over them always.
I know the intention for your post is for little ones to grasp the meaning of this important scripture, but I thought you would want to know that even some of us not so little ones need to be reminded of His love.

favorites also and she was so excited this past month when she realized
that it was 3/16 {March 16th}. :) I love that God's word can mean so
much to us throughout our lives!
