Dee Phillips
Summary: Fun board book that teaches all about the kangaroos in Australia ~ and the little babies carried around in pouches!

What You'll Need:
  • Brown sheet/construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil {to outline/trace letter}
  • Marker/Pen
  • Googly eye
  • Glue
How to make the 'K’ Kangaroo:

  1. Trace and cut an uppercase 'K' out of the brown foam sheet or construction paper. I used a foam sheet that was about 4" x 5" in size.
  2. Using the excess foam, cut out a few extra pieces for your kangaroo ~ a foot, tail, neck, and a head/face.
  3. Glue on the tail, foot and connect the head using the 'neck' piece.
  4. Add an eye. If you don't have any googly eyes, you can also use a hole punch and punch a single white dot to use as an eye.
  5. Draw a face and color in the ears for your kangaroo.
