How to Make the ‘v’ for violin:

  1. Cut out a lowercase ‘v’ from a piece of brown foam sheet. To make the letters go along with the uppercase letters we’ve done in the past, this letter was cut from a piece of foam that was about 3” x 4”.
  2. Cut the body of the violin out of brown foam. We used a piece that was about 9 inches tall and 6 inches wide. I drew one side of the violin on a sheet of paper and folded it half and cut
  3. Cut out a bow for your violin.
  4. Draw the scrolls and decorate your violin. You can see a great picture of a violin here
  5. Draw the strings on your violin…I {ahem} accidentally drew five, but there are only four on a violin. :)
  6. Glue on your letter ‘v’ to the front of the violin.
