The Terrific Tot Sites feature is designed to help you find fun and safe websites to visit with your toddler. Some of the sites are educational in nature and some are just plain fun! If this is your first time visiting, be sure to check out some of the toddler websites that we've featured in the past.
Considering how much I love Beatrix Potter’s work, I’m rather surprised that I haven’t spent much time on the Peter Rabbit site before now. Right now {just in time for a little more Easter fun} the site has a pop-up Easter egg hunt where little ones can help find 10 missing eggs. Once you find all ten, you can download a special coloring sheet for your little one.
Some of the cute games on the site include:
~ A Winter’s Tale ~ your little one has 30 seconds to collect 10 falling snowflakes by clicking on them as they fall from the sky
~ Vegetable Picking Game ~ collect vegetables from Mr. McGregor’s garden
~ Find Peter ~ Peter is hiding under a flower pot and you have to find him before Mr. McGregor
~ Net Maze ~ Spin the number wheel to hop through the garden and answer questions about the story
There is a ‘Make and Do’ section where you can download pdfs to create some fun crafts like an old-fashioned spinner, a pom-pom mouse, coloring pages and more. You can also meet the characters of Peter Rabbit too ~ and of course the graphics are the sweetest!
If you have a few extra minutes visit the Beatrix Potter site too and learn a little more about the author. You’ll also find some fun wallpaper downloads to use for your computer. :)

I will have to try the egg hunt.
I love Peter Rabbit. My grandmother use to read these stories to me all the time! I never thought to see if there was a website! I will be checking this out soon :-)
