Maisy Makes Lemonade by Lucy Cousins
Summary: On a hot day, Maisy the beloved mouse shares a nice cold drink with her friend Eddie--but Eddie is so hot, it takes a lot of lemonade to satisfy his thirst. Maisy offers to make a pitcher of lemonade for Eddie, but when she goes to get some cups, she hears a slurping noise!

- Lemon Color Page (option 1: L with lots of lemons option 2: Whole Lemon and Lemon Half)
- Yellow paint with Lemonade (koolaid) mixed in
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Glue
To Make:
1. Print out the lemon color page
2. Have LO color the page with the lemonade scented paint
3. Let dry, cut out, and glue to the construction paper
4. Hole punch and add it to your alphabet book
The Lord is My Shepherd by Hans Wilhelm
Summary: Paraphrases the words of the Twenty-third Psalm to demonstrate for young readers how Jesus cares for little children just as a good shepherd takes care of his sheep.
Shepherd and Lambs Puzzle
Need:
- Lamb and Shepherd Puzzle (print 2)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Construction Paper
- Ziploc baggie or envelope
To Make:
1. Print out the Lamb and Shepherd puzzle (2 copies)
2. Cut them out around the frame
3. Glue 1 puzzle down on the construction paper
4. Cut the other on the white lines
5. Store the puzzle pieces in the envelope or baggie
6. Add to your alphabet book
Note: For a harder challenge just print off 1 sheet and let them put it back together without the frame copy.
To Play:
Let your LO put the puzzle pieces on the puzzle frame
Extra Lamb fun
- Make Cotton ball LAMBS
- Sing Mary Had A Little LAMB
- Make LAMB cupcakes
- Lamb Toast: cut out a lamb out of toast with cookie cutter, spread cream cheese over it and add raisin eye

sorry I'm a bit late, again, with posting our verse. I can't make up my mind if I want to do a tot book or lapbook for kites with the letter K, lol. But I thought I would go ahead and leave our verse for the letter L, just in case someone was interested: "love one another, for love comes from God. 1 John 4:7"
